Purchasing and procurement activities at ARGO-HYTOS are coordinated through the local purchasing departments in Kraichtal (Germany), Vrchlabi (Czech Republic), Coimbatore (India), Yangzhou (China), and Zator (Poland). The various locations are part of a professional sourcing network within the ARGO-HYTOS Group. The continuous improvement and development of the purchasing organization by its employees has a positive impact on ARGO-HYTOS’s cost efficiency.

Involving our suppliers and partners in the product development phases is essential to achieving the best possible outcomes for both parties by the end of the project.
We meet regularly in global (cross-functional) teams to establish new standards and processes that ensure efficiency for us and our partners. Our Code of Conduct is part of our corporate philosophy and is binding for us. We expect our partners to commit to it as well.

Sustainability in the Supply Chain

Sustainability is a central component of our corporate strategy at Voith. Our goal is to integrate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria into all procurement processes and to minimize the environmental impact of our procurement activities. This also applies to our collaboration with our suppliers.

Logistics at ARGO-HYTOS

As part of our strategy of continuous improvement and development, all logistics activities for ARGO-HYTOS Germany will be handled by our logistics partner, Rhenus Warehousing Solutions SE & Co. KG, in Mannheim.
