INITIAL SITUATION
As part of a new roller project, an international construction equipment manufacturer was looking for an alternative to the existing high-pressure filter - including a copy protection feature for the filter element.
The new solution had to reliably operate at flow rates up to 95 l/min and a nominal pressure of 280 bar, with the option to retrofit a clogging indicator.
SOLUTION
ARGO-HYTOS presented the HFL-077 high pressure filter as a suitable and innovative alternative - featuring a mechanical copy protection system for the filter element.
To ensure a reliable and stable application and to perfectly plan the replacemet of the filter element, an electrical clogging indicator can be attached to the filter.
A globally integrated approach and close cooperation with the internationally operating customer were the key drivers of success.
The strong worldwide expertise of ARGO-HYTOS across different regions and departments allowed for the efficient integration and testing of the solution in a prototype machine within a remarkably short timeframe.
This on-site validation combined with laboratory testing enabled system qualification in parallel with development – ensuring a smooth and low-risk transition to series production.
