Regional Sales Manager
Your tasks:
- Build and sustain sales of technical products in the assigned territory through distribution and direct sales channels
- Provide technical support to customers in coordination with product management and applications engineering
- Manage all levels of activity within assigned territory from the identification of potential, the acquisition of new business, and maintaining a strong customer relationship
- Manage projects through the technical and commercial development process
- Develop pricing and lead commercial negotiations with customers
- Contribution to and execution of ARGO-HYTOS sales strategy through implementation of strategic goals while providing constant feedback concerning product lines, competitive outlook, and market information
- Relationship management through constant customer contact, serve as primary contact for all communication with customers
- Conducting business on behalf of ARGO-HYTOS with professionalism, integrity, and a focus on customer service
What do we expect?
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical area (CFPHS highly preferred)
- 5+ years of experience working in technical sales
- Fluid power practices and standards, knowledge of hydraulic schematics, engineering drawings, and general machining practices
- Product knowledge and industry experience in the field of hydraulics/fluid power
- Experience in negotiation
- Excellent communication skills
- Dedication to customer service and relationship management
- Travel approximately 60-70%
- Analytical thinking and problem solving skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office. SAP, Paro hydraulic design tools preferred
