What does a day in the role of Secretary look like?

As a secretary I deal with a number of tasks related to the office management. First of all, I handle phone calls and document workflows. The incoming inquiries, purchase orders and complaints are followed by a confirmation of receipt registered in our system and assigned to the appropriate person.
I’m also responsible for registering incoming invoices, describing them with a special number and distributing them to the purchase or accounting department. Additionally, I handle incoming and outcoming postal correspondence and am in charge of supplying the company with food, office articles or anything that makes the people’s work easier and more efficient.
A very important part of my day-to-day work is taking care of the general image of the company building and surrounding area, which includes paying attention to the visual presentation and preparation of conference rooms and working spaces for guests.
The part of my job I consider very satisfying and fulfilling is supporting our marketing department in tasks such as Polish-English or English-Polish translations of documents, data sheets or texts on our website.

What was the moment where you knew you made the right decision to join ARGO-HYTOS?

Joining ARGO-HYTOS turned out to be the right decision the moment I noticed that my work was appreciated by my boss and co-workers. The sense of belonging to the ARGO-HYTOS family is also influenced by the fact that every time I face problems or difficulties, I receive support from my team.

What do you value the most about ARGO-HYTOS?

What I value the most about ARGO-HYTOS is a friendly atmosphere and supportive environment, which are very important factors when it comes to effective teamwork and personal development. I also appreciate the pro-family approach which helped me to reconcile working life with starting a family a few years ago.

ARGO-HYTOS is all about coming up with solutions. How do you come up with solutions?

One of the most helpful and unusual tools in coming up with solutions in AHPL is the digital white board. You can write down your problem and suggestion of how to deal with it and pin it to the board – you can be sure that the issue will not be forgotten. What is more, our office’s open space supports brainstorming and coming up with solutions through discussion.
