ARGO-HYTOS, a leading global provider of hydraulic system solutions, announces that Mr. Shrikant Bairagi will assume the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) effective February 1, 2026. He will succeed Markus Munz, who has decided to leave the company at the end of January 2026.

Shrikant Bairagi is a well-known successful leader within the ARGO-HYTOS Group. Since joining the company in March 2018 as Managing Director – India, he has supported profitable growth and the development of manufacturing and people capabilities, strengthening ARGO-HYTOS’s manufacturing footprint. With more than three decades of international management experience including 8 years in USA, he brings a broad range of operational and strategic expertise, spanning his early work as a manufacturing engineer to senior leadership positions in operations management and his responsibilities as Managing Director.

Shrikant Bairagi holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from India and an MBA from the United States. His achievements and leadership style have been recognized through multiple awards. In 2023, he was honored as one of India’s Top 25 People Managers in the Great People Manager Study and was also named one of the Top 10 Alumni Leaders of IIM Lucknow by CEO Insights.
