This Code of Conduct is part of our social responsibility and prerequisite for sustainable corporate success.
We expect each of our employees to feel personally responsible for complying with this Code of Conduct and to support all
colleagues to comply with it. The company management holds responsibility for the implementation of these principles.
The here described basic principles constitute a minimum standard for us.
We undertake to observe the internationally proclaimed human rights in our sphere of influence.
We firmly reject child labor in our company and expect the same from our business partners.
We safeguard the rights of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
We will not engage in or associate ourselves with the use of any form of forced labor.
Discrimination and respect for others
We mean to provide a workplace free of discrimination and harassment on the basis of gender, race, skin color, religious beliefs, age, national origin, handicap or sexual orientation. We respect the dignity, privacy and personality of each employee.
Compensation and working hours
We recognize workers’ needs for adequate remuneration and observe the legally guaranteed minimum wages in the respective labor market. We follow the regulations concerning working hours in each of our companies.

Health and safety
Our aim is to avoid work-related accidents. Therefore we provide a safe and healthy working environment, which allows working without experiencing any health restrictions and to stay healthy. We ensure this aim by continuous improvement of the workplace, preventive measures, developments, investments in technical safety and monitoring of the working conditions.
We consider the protection of the environment and the natural resources in the context of a sustainable and equitable economy, combining the needs of the present and coming generations as a key duty, in order to protect and re-establish the integrity of the earth’s ecosystem.
We maintain an environmental management system at all production sites world-wide, which we continuously improve.
Local environmental protection laws and the specifications of the ARGO-HYTOS group must be observed as a minimum.
Protection of personal data
Personal data of our employees and business partners are used thriftily and for operationally necessary and lawful purposes only. Personal data is protected against unauthorized access and loss.
Conflict of interests, gifts and attempted bribery
We give an undertaking that we will not accept gifts or payments or hold (company) investments which could lead to a conflict of interests. In particular, neither bribes nor any other illegal payments may be offered, made or accepted.
We encourage our business partners to introduce and implement similar principles of social responsibility within their companies.
